Recurse Center
I'm currently in the 8th week of my batch at the Recurse Center. See: backlog.
I'm currently focused on a Verilog CPU and from-scratch PCB design. For hardware, I'm learning about PCB prototyping and DIY manufacturing. For software, I'm learning about microprogramming and totally reevaluating my understanding of instruction sets.

- Started the week with a cold.
- Electronics order arrived! Tinkered with parts for most of the afternoon.
- Practiced wire wrapping. Repeated over and over enough to get reliable results, but still with a very slow process.
- Opened KiCAD for the first time in what feels like a long time. Start to re-learn how to make schematics.

- Wanted to get the etching process started today.
- Managed somehow to print a PDF from Linux.
- Picked up PPE from the hardware store.
- Realized I forgot I needed a dremel. Found a kit on Craigslist for pickup! Turned into impromptu trip to NJ.
- Remembered why walking around suburbs sucks.

- Mostly recovered from cold.
